In 2011, prior to the first quarter, Management at Filmmakers Global voted unanimously to stop accepting entries via snail mail (hard copy) and opt instead for a more environmental friendly solution, online, digital entries. That action cost us; a loss of 15% (hard copy entries) but saved our planet 17 TREES.  Thank you to all participants!

By the end of May, 2012 the 11th annual Filmmakers Int'l Screenwriting Awards online submission system is expected to go live, be interactive and user friendly; + contain many features.  The same features will be added to the American Gem Short Script and Literary Festival in June/July 2012.

In January, 2013 Filmmakers Global  is expected to launch a new screenwriting competition exclusively for TV writing.
